It is not for scarcity of doubt that I believe,
or absence of fear that I abide,
but it is with fumbling faith
that I rest in the arms of God,
and wander through that foggy abyss, contentious and reposed.
blindly guided by mystery and the kindness of His grace.
By knowing, have I learned?
God is quietly present in nature, in love.
